Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking an Information Security Service Desk Customer Service Representative to provide support to Edgewater Federal government contracts.
Receive and process emails and phone calls related to information security from across the enterprise.
Route emails and phone calls to the appropriate unit within Information Security for proper handling.
Handle routine administrative requests and policy questions.
Create tickets for other teams as necessary.
Measure and report service desk activity to leadership for situational awareness.
Create and send routine daily reports.
High school diploma.
One year of professional experience.
Basic knowledge and understanding of: Computers, to include hardware, peripherals, and operating systems Networks, to include common network devices and wireless technologies Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including native-equivalent English language proficiency (expect to complete a writing sample).
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organization skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently.
Passion for information technology and cyber security.
Experience in a cyber security operations environment.
Advanced information technology and/or cyber security knowledge, skill, and ability, including experience with other operating systems besides Windows.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Net+, Security+, etc.
