What could the internship lead to?
The goal of our internship program is to develop and retain the best talent by converting top-performing interns into full-time entry-level permanent employees with the option to participate in the Digital Rotational Program which gives college graduates the opportunity to participate in four 6-month assignments in various technology positions, acquiring essential skills and knowledge along the way. The mission of this program is to accelerate the development of knowledge and skills through experiences within Pfizer Digital in order to find the best fit for the individual and the organization, as well as find new and innovative ways to deliver quality Digital technology solutions to Pfizer.
What will I do?
As a Digital Summer Intern, the student will work on technology related projects that support Breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. The responsibilities of this role will vary depending on organizational need, and project alignment is determined based on the applicant’s skills and interests.
The Pfizer Digital Summer Intern Program provides students entering their junior and senior years of college the following opportunities:
The opportunity to work on meaningful projects that address key business issues and needs
Develop and strengthen technology skills
Provide one-on-one support from assignment managers focused on your role and experience
Visibility to senior-level Digital leadership
An instant network and buddy match to foster successful on-boarding
Rising juniors and seniors in the summer of 2020, graduating in 2021 or 2022
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business, Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Communications
DISCIPLINE SKILLS PREFERRED
Basic skills in at least one information technology related discipline such as:
Software and mobile development
NON TECHNICAL SKILLS PREFERRED
Willingness to contribute fresh and innovative ideas
Change agile; must take action on projects quickly
Quickly learns new skills and knowledge readily
Demonstrated business acumen and leadership behavior
Excellent oral and written communication skills
