Job Title: Electrical Technician
Qualifications needed:
- Minimum three years of experience in industrial and electrical.
- Experience in layout, assembling and installing wire, electrical components in accordance with blueprints and NEC
- Knowledgeable in single and three phase motors and motor control systems
- Experience working on and troubleshooting induction systems
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
- An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Responsibilities:
- Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
- Performs tasks including but limited to, troubleshooting and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment up to 480v
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts
- Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, and replacement
- Analyzes and interprets test data
- Troubleshoot PLC’s
- Install and troubleshoot AC and DC Drives
- Keep accurate log of daily work activities
- Restocking supplies and materials as necessary
Other skills that are desirable for this position:
- Journeyman electrician
- Experience working with VFD, HMI and PLC
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
- Manlift certified

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
