EHS&S Business Intelligence Manager
This position is part of the Baxter Global team supporting Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S). The Manager of EHS&S Business Intelligence is the primary business manager and point of contact for the current EHS Information Management System (IMS) and will own all activities associated with supporting the IMS; evaluating alternative platforms; prioritizing system enhancements to improve overall adoption and usability and change roll-out to global users. The Manager will partner with key stakeholders, vendors and IT to identify & drive improvement opportunities across tools/systems, streamline EHS&S data processes, enable connections and data insights to support EHS&S digital transformation. The ideal candidate possesses change management expertise, excels at facilitation/building consensus and acts as an independent contributor managing day to day issue resolution and system maintenance challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead large scale system requirement gathering and solution evaluation with internal stakeholders to identify IMS gaps and research solutions via various methods (e.g. reviewing current system functionality, industry benchmarking)
Partner internally and externally to develop comprehensive project plans, manage deadlines/resource needs, and effectively communicate purpose/need, scope, timing.
Manage projects related to advanced analytics, new system/tools implementations, upgrades, and process rollout.
Provide thought leadership to identify innovative solutions, manage/mitigate all risks, resource and scope challenges that arise in relation to scope & projects.
Understand EHS&S business strategies/priorities and partners with the IT organization to advance EHS&S Digital roadmap
Ensure operational/ functional change management and adoption is successful and measured as part of project rollout plans.
Document detailed user requirements (e.g., system functionality, reports); assists in the development of system documentation/training materials and training processes.
Partner with facility/regional EHS&S teams to understand user experience and enable optimization via coaching/training on IMS and other tools.
Support operational EHS&S cadence through regular monitoring & communication as required.
Assist with compiling, verifying, and publishing EHS content for various external reports (e.g., Corporate Responsibility Report, Dow Jones).
Partner with Baxter’s Innovative Workplace and Business Analytics groups to stay up to date with latest business technology and determine how it can be leveraged within the group.
Perform duties as requested
Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and 3rd party reporting tools.
Familiarity with business process flow and/or entity relationship modeling. Strong communication (verbal/written/listening), collaboration and teamwork skills.
Good organizational skills. Demonstrated focus on quality. Must be detail-oriented and able to work within a dynamic team setting.
Demonstrated analytical capability, including the ability to use multiple computer applications (e.g. Tableau, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and manipulate data to produce clear data analysis reports.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability to achieve process efficiency and improvements.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems or related field
5 to 7 years’ experience in systems support/development applying systems solutions to business problems.
Experience overseeing EHS&S software program suite 3+ years of experience leading a large program with distributed user base
Demonstrated experience with management systems and managing projects and/or teams
Demonstrated ability to adapt to/drive change across a dynamic, global and decentralized business environment
Exhibit understanding of ISO9001, 14001 &/or OHSAS 18001/45001
Six Sigma training/ Green Belt Certification preferred
