IT Help Desk Technician

Our client in the Retail Industry is in immediate need of a Help Desk Technician to provide ongoing support for their internal and external users. This is a long term contract with an hourly rate range between $15-18/hr. Candidates that match the requirements listed are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 1 support for internal and external users pertaining to IT-related projects and technical issues
  • Maintain proper documentation of incidences that are being resolved
  • Minimal administration of the client's network/infrastructure and ongoing support of other applications like Active Directory, MS Exchange and network connectivity
  • Maintain a strong relationship with vendors as well as other technicians within the organization

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent IT related certifications
  • More than 2 years of experience supporting hardware and software issues
  • Strong experience with MS Windows Operating Systems (through version 10)
  • Basic network troubleshooting experience
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware like PCs, printers, copiers, etc.
  • Experience working in the retail industry is very highly preferred

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
