Responsible for creating, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives in order to achieve
credit union goals and build awareness of TruMark Financial in the communities served.
Responsible for maintaining a clear message and a consistent brand image across all media.
1. Coordinate activities with agencies, media-buying firms, direct mail firms, telemarketing
firms, designers, photographers, A/V houses, printers, computer programmers, and
directly, if needed, with various sources of advertising media, etc.
2. Coordinate tactics to enhance the credit union’s brand awareness in the marketplace.
3. Works with Business Intelligence Analyst to track and report on campaign performance.
4. Perform desktop publishing for internal and external print and Web communications.
5. Implement email marketing campaigns and email surveys and report results to VP,
6. Oversee branch-opening promotions and other special events.
7. Researches locations and arranges all details for Investor Services and home buying
seminars to include: materials, reservations, attendance, supplies, catering, equipment,
8. Serves as back-up to Marketing Communications Coordinator (Website Content) on such
tasks as updating external website.
9. Maintain working knowledge of financial products and services.
10. Reviews and edits other departments’ and employees recurring or mass communications
to ensure quality, effective communications, and consistency with trademark and style
guidelines including notification letters and regulatory communiqués.
11. Works with third party vendor to create monthly newsletter.
12. Writes newsletter stories and advertising copy as needed.
13. Designs, writes, edits, and implements e-Dividend.
14. Obtains, summarizes, and provides research on variety of projects which impact on the
marketing department, the credit union, or its members.
15. Remains active in credit union training programs. Complete the position’s present
curriculum as outlined by completing the following – credit union annual required
compliance training and the supplemental courses listed within the prescribed
time. Follows policy and procedure daily to ensure compliant with current regulations.
16. Completes all other tasks, assignments or functions as assigned and/or required.
17. Communicate marketing initiatives and relation operational procedures to internal
constituents in a clear and timely manner.

five years of experience in an advertising agency, public relations firm, or corporate marketing

Working knowledge of graphic design techniques & software (Quark Xpress, MS
FrontPage, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign).
Excellent knowledge of the MS Windows operating system, MS Internet Explorer,
Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of basic HTML.
In-depth knowledge of the professional techniques and media used in sales promotions,
print production, audio/visual production, market research, product and delivery channel
development, advertising copywriting, media planning, and public relations.
Fluent with all social media platforms and continually remain up-to-date in evolving
technology and tracking programs. Working knowledge of social media and digital
marketing and its role in an overall strategic marketing plan.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with members, officials,
employees, and contacts.
