Full Job Description
The Sr. Manager of E-commerce – International Expansion is responsible for all activities to build and launch an international digital business. This person must work cross functionally to ensure that all tasks and processes for establishing and running the new venture are planned, staffed and ready to execute. This includes strategizing, planning, developing and executing content plans, end to end product set-up, partnering on the new promotional process, establishing creative content/marketing needs, and planning the end to end guest support.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
Manage the development of the overall user experience, creating the end to end experience from item set-up, content creation, promotional planning, marketing and supporting the post order purchase process.
Work with cross functional business partners to develop and create the overall operations supporting the guest experience. Partners include eComm Business, Guest Services, Supply Chain, Merchandise Planning and Inventory, Marketing and Information technology.
Identify differences in multi country support and identify gaps and mitigation plans to support the differences
Participate in building and developing roles and staffing plans to execute all aspects of the business
Own the end to end post order process, ensuring all teams have developed processes to enable a seamless experience for our guests.
Provide thought leadership and process optimization initiatives in partnership with our corporate team.
Min. 8-10 years experience in the digital retailing market, B2C experience a must.
Experience in defining and executing new operational processes, thinking through all touch points and potential pitfalls
Extensive knowledge of the end to end ecommerce experience, focusing on systems and processes to define the experience
Ability to break down task work and determine operational flow, even when ambiguous.
Proven leader with experience navigating cross functional teams, seeking alignment, clarity and providing direction to impacted parties.
Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
