Responsible for supervising, staffing and conducting the Lottery’s drawings, creating and managing a small video post-production studio, and developing in-house video content.
Supervises Lottery drawings:
Oversees and conducts the drawings for the Lottery games in accordance with official rules and procedures.
Reviews and maintains all official documentation pertaining to the results of the lottery drawings and works with the auditing firm to review and implement any recommended procedural changes.
Produces video recordings of drawings for immediate distribution through social media and digital platforms.
Organizes the continued testing and maintenance of equipment to ensure functional equipment to conduct the Lottery drawings.
Maintains the functionality of two studios to ensure continuity of drawings.
Coordinates the execution of remote drawings and special events to maintain integrity of the drawing.
Supervises the Assistant Drawing Supervisor, schedules technicians to conduct the drawings, and coordinates the supervision of a witness for each drawing.
Produces video content:
Creates additional video content in post-production for distribution on social media and digital platforms
Works with the Marketing Team to prep, shoot, and produce in-house video content.
Coordinates the development of storyboards and equipment to support the production of video content.
Develops the overall capacity of the Lottery to produce high-quality video content on a limited budget, including evaluating existing equipment, software and hardware and making recommendations for new acquisitions as technology warrants.
Ability to travel throughout MA.
Represent the Lottery at special events (may require working some weeknights and weekends.
Attend professional development seminars and/or trainings to stay current with Studio Production techniques.
Performs related duties as assigned.
The events of certain circumstances, i.e. State of Emergency, severe weather, Lottery need, etc., may determine this position to be considered as “essential".
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or comparable degree and experience equivalent.
Experience adhering to strict rules and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and able to execute specific procedures.
Process oriented and extremely organized.
Self-motivated and able to work independently when necessary.
Experience managing a small studio and producing content.
Expert knowledge of video editing and post-production tools.
Familiarity with Lottery games and products.
