Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Finance Reporting Lead in our Houston, Texas office.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
Primary responsibilities:

Performs internal and external benchmarking exercises aimed at driving improved business performance

Manages the monthly rolling forecast and major budget processes for the region. Develops calendear deadlines and budget guidance, interfacing with numerous finance business partners ensuring that deadlines are adhered to. Provides support to business/local teams

Serves as a key interface with the Group Reporting team for facilitation of reporting / ad hoc requests asked of ASA.

Responsible for providing direction, strategy and oversight in the Group reporting processes for ASA. Sepcific responsibilities include: develop and maintain a calendar and process which support key Group deadlines for monthly reporting, develop and maintain a process which supports all required elements for monthly actual reporting to Group.

Key responsibility to deliver the internal financial management and businesss performance reporting for the Business Unit/Region. Develops reporting solutions based on business needs – operational KPIs and financial information for both actual and forward looking periods

Serves as a Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications Subject Matter Expert, providing assistance and support to local teams

Create efficiencies by continuously improving the system and associated processes - works to understand business requirements, develops solutions to meet those requirements, and when required, manages or participates on a team to implement system enhancements

Assist divisional and business finance groups in defining standards, processes and procedures for the Hyperion financial suite

Servces as liaison with external and internal auditos and provides support during audit cycles
- Instrumental in the development and maintenance of an equitable central cost allocation methodology
Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or similar discipline

CPA, CFA and/or MBA designations highly preferred
Knowledge, skills and experience:
-
Minimum 1-2 years supervisory/management experience preferred

Strong systems and data acumen, ideally with prior HFM or Hyperion Planning experience (or another dimensional data model oriented application)

Prior experience with operational budget development and ownership, along with management reporting, is preferred
