Internal Only - New Business Development Manager
The New Business Development Manager will lead the development of our strategy to sell at least 25 MM pounds of activated carbon to be produced in a new production line at Pearl River Plant. This position will be the first of a team who will ultimately execute the selected strategy(s) with a timeline that most appropriately coincides with the construction and commissioning of the new production line.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
Explore, gather, assess, and organize GAC import data, market segment data, market growth data, competitive data, and product data
Complete SWOT analysis related to possible strategies using various channels to market
Develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative model(s) in order to evaluate and prioritize various scenarios, including market segments, channels to market, organizational structure, pricing, volumes, etc.; prepare recommendations for executive leadership
Develop action plans for execution of selected strategy(s)
A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university with a concentration in Business or Engineering discipline is required
5-7 years of Engineering, Business or relevant experience, customer/market-facing role preferred
Demonstrated initiative, judgment, and decision making competence; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
