Bellwright Manufacturing is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team! Must demonstrate a team building attitude and have a strong desire to contribute to the success of our Engineering team. The ideal candidate is prepared and works well with others in a fast paced environment. This position requires excellent communication skills and should have the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization. The primary mission of the Manufacturing Engineer is to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing through all phases of the production process.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to read and interpret customer blueprints and standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and concepts. Ability to work with Manufacturing and Production to design or modify fixtures, tools, and gages for increased productivity or safety. Good mechanical ability and general understanding of physics.
Requires general vision, hearing and speech. Ability to sit for extended periods, and general stooping, bending and stretching. Foot-eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at waist height. General reading, math, memory, writing, verbal communication and analytical skills. Ability to work alone and with others, in moderate temperature, with moderate to loud noise level. Perform repetitive work and work under deadlines. Attends to different tasks simultaneously. Trains other employees. Computer knowledge and the ability to work with engineering office equipment.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years manufacturing related experience and or education.
