Tilson is seeking an individual in the Salt Lake City area ready to lead a project team of professionals in large design-build telecommunications infrastructure projects. Specifically, this position is for a performance-driven leader ready to flourish in a dynamic growth-driven environment. This individual is a proven, experienced professional with a track record of success executing multiple aspects of the construction process and who thrives in management of multimillion dollar turn key infrastructure build projects. Strong leadership abilities, an established reputation for industry excellence, a deep understanding of the mechanics of construction and estimating along with good management and communication skills are important characteristics this candidate will possess.

The Senior Project Manager will orchestrate the full project lifecycle of multiple design-build projects simultaneously and is expert in all facets of managing large infrastructure projects. Tilson is looking for leaders who are self-motivated and determined to develop the best project teams within our industry.

Responsibilities:
Managing multiple project teams to deliver successful and profitable projects.
Establish Tilson’s project team, workflow and process, including the management of internal engineering and preconstruction team.
Overseeing Pre-construction activities such as subcontractor pre-qualifications, purchasing
Running pre-construction meetings, value engineering, and estimating
Establishing budget controls and assuming responsibility for profits and losses
Analyzing and mitigating risk on projects
Project scheduling of the lifecycle of the project
Execution of aggressive project schedules
Oversight of project claims and resolution
Review design documents from internal team and verify complete and accurate plans
Review project scope of work and identify risk areas throughout the project.
Oversee and facilitate purchasing and issuance of subcontracts and purchase orders. Approval of vendor invoices.
Manage project controls for safety, quality, owner relations, profitability and cash flow.
Responsible to seek out and retain both new and existing clients through industry contacts and business development efforts

Qualifications:
Senior Project Manager must have the following experience and be proficient in the use and execution of the following systems:
7-10+ years of building and construction management experience of projects over $50MM
Degree in engineering or construction management preferred
Proficient in estimating, scheduling, cost controls and financial reporting
OSHA Site Safety Experience
Must have good business acumen
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite along with Sage, Primavera, and MS Project
Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment and grow the company
Successful candidates will be required to submit to criminal background check.
