About the role
You’ll play a key role optimizing and maintaining the Scoot fleet for our riders. You’ll participate in a variety of different technical skills, including swapping batteries, maintaining charging locations, and vehicle upkeep. You’ll be ready to spring into action to help scoots needing immediate roadside assistance. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
This is an ideal position for someone interested in advancing their mechanical skills and getting started in the field of electric vehicles. A successful candidate will consider themselves technology savvy and enjoy two-wheeled adventures.
Relevant experience and mindset:
Must have a Class C driver's license
Experience as a mechanic, courier, or construction worker
Nice to have a Motorcycle (M1) or moped (M2), but not required
Clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years old
Familiarity with SF city streets and neighborhoods
Ability to multi-task and prioritize a daily list of tasks
Passion for making San Francisco a better place

Ability to ride scoots for the duration of your shift
Ability to stand or walk for long periods
Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to manipulate basic hand tools
Hours — possible shifts include:
Weekends swing shift
Weekdays as needed
Hours and days are somewhat flexible
