We are looking for Railbike Guides for Revolution Rail in the Hadley, NY. Our Guides have an exciting and interesting job guiding our guests down the rails from Thurman to Stony Creek. Our guides become well-versed in the history of the area, the rail system, as well as the natural world which are all integral components of our tours. Additionally, our guides will become proficient in making minor repairs and adjustments, as well as performing routine maintenance to our railbikes. This is a unique position that requires unique individuals interested in learning and motivated to serve the public in a very exciting role. Schedule:
· Must be available for weekend shifts
· Shifts available starting September thru early November
Primary job duties include but are not limited to:
· Lead groups on railbike tours
· Assist in the daily operations of the railbikes
· Deliver safety briefing to railbike customers
· Manage road crossings on railbike tours
· Create a fun, memorable experience for Revolution Rail Co. customers
· Check-in guests in the station
· Will be trained to make minor repairs and adjustments to railbikes.
Requirements
· Great attitude
· Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
· Excellent people and communication skills
· Physical fitness - ability to lift 30 pounds and pedal a bike
· Love of nature and being outdoors
· First-aid certification is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
