DMI is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support FBI digital forensics documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning, researching, outlining and writing of end-user documentation including, but not limited to all user manuals, technical manuals/documents, directives, policies, software and infrastructure documentation
Conduct research by interviewing subject matter experts, reviewing existing documentation and by gleaning information from the system or product being documented.
Develop and update documentation templates and procedures.
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum/General Experience: four (4) years of experience as a technical writer.

Required Skills/Certifications:
A minimum of two (2) years of recent and relevant working experience is required in the following areas:

Planning, researching, outlining and writing of end-user documentation including, but not limited to all user manuals, technical manuals/documents, directives, policies, software and infrastructure documentation
Conduct research by interviewing subject matter experts, reviewing existing documentation and by gleaning information from the system or product being documented.
Develop and update documentation templates and procedures.

Desired Skills/Certifications:
Excellent writing skills.
Efficiency in reviewing and editing technical documents.
Knowledge in various web based applications and various computer languages.
