What if you could use your engineering skills to transform Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Electronic Warfare (EW), and agile Radio Frequency (RF) system technology for the DoD? As an RF engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to working with clients to identify problems, generate solutions, and communicate results. We’re looking for an RF engineer who can use their skills to perform signal processing, algorithm development, simulation, and modeling of wireless systems.
Our team develops advanced RF technologies and delivers solutions to complex wireless system problems. That’s why we need you, an RF engineer with strong knowledge of wireless systems, propagation models, digital signal processing (DSP), and a command of modeling and simulation to help us design and develop agile wireless systems. You will directly impact the RF systems domain by being an integral part of our agile engineering methods. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in wireless systems while broadening your skillset into areas like RF communications, DSP and many others. 10+ years of experience with implementing solutions to RF signal processing problems
Experience with developing and integrating scientific algorithms with MATLAB and C/C++
Experience with leading projects and providing guidance to junior engineers
Experience in interacting directly with clients to identify problems, analyzing data, generating solutions, and communicating results
Ability to develop wireless communication protocols, signal processing algorithms, and apply statistical methods for data analysis from a wide variety of sources
Ability to provide detection, classification, and characterization of target signals
Knowledge of linear algebra and stochastic processes at an expert level
Ability to obtain a security clearance
MA or MS Degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with RF systems and test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, propagation modeling, and link budget analysis
Knowledge of detection and estimation theory
Knowledge of communications and information theory
Experience with radar and optical signal processing
Experience implementing machine learning methods
Experience with Linux systems and commands
MS Degree in Computer Engineering, EE, or related major; PhD degree preferred
