In this role, you will join the newly formed US Transformation Office as an internal Instructional Designer for commercial Capability development learning needs. Your role on a lean Agile team will be to develop training materials for the prioritized commercial Capabilities that enable the business to achieve both its immediate goals and long-term, sustainable growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a developing organization and has experience turning content into engaging and impactful learning experiences. This role will report to a Learning & Development Lead.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recommend appropriate modality of formal training needs (ie: instructor-led or eLearning, on-demand or live, etc)
Design, develop and deliver learning/training material from start to finish
Host learning design discovery sessions to ascertain the goal and needs of the solution
Seek business and Capability team approval and alignment on design plan before moving forward
Partner closely with internal subject matter experts to obtain content and subsequently complete a full review and obtain their approval of the final training solution
Help deliver training sessions or train the trainer as needed
Ensure all work product meets the Kraft Heinz Corporate University quality standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in training and development, human-centered design, education, organizational development or related field
4+ years of learning and development experience within an organization. Preferred experience in a developing and lean L&D group, as part of a holistic Capability development group, and/or in a federated, decentralized learning and development function.
Superior interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation) with a strong ability to ask the right questions, adapt style to audience in the moment and share feedback and recommendations in a compelling manner
Strong stakeholder and project management skills, attention to detail, and a track record of developing high quality learning experiences
Ability to work independently but also take and act upon firm direction
Ability to elevate potential risks to delivery and to recommend alternate paths
Deep understanding of contemporary adult learning, emerging design principles and learner-centered methodologies
Expertise in designing instructor-led programs, developing eLearning and with innovative technology
Preferred experience deploying learning via Cornerstone LMS
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
Graphic and video design skills, including use of the full Adobe Suite
Expertise in creating eLearning in Captivate, Articulate and/or Camtasia tools
Experience in producing virtual events in Microsoft Teams and Zoom
