We are a folding carton manufacturing operation seeking candidates to join our Sheeting Department as a Material Handler (630pm- 630am). The person who occupies this position is responsible for preparing and loading paperboard rolls onto sheeter machinery in addition to assisting operator when needed.


The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the company are dynamic. Helper is to remove covering off rolls.
Responsible for preparing roll to be loaded upon sheeter, after plug centers are
With assistance of Operator, if needed, helper is to load roll onto roll stand and prepare rolls to be run.
Responsible for general housekeeping of work area. Is to collect all paper scraps, metal straps and plugs and deliver to appropriate areas.
Responsible for pulling finished loads from delivery of sheeter. Activity is performed by use of fork lift if necessary or hand jack if possible.

Physical and visual activities that are commonly associated* with the performance of the functions of this job:
Position associated with walking, standing, handling (removing roll covers, shafting the roll), pushing (paperboard rolls), pulling (cut loads from delivery), lifting (50 lbs.), talking (communicating with operator).
Physical demands commonly associated* with the performance of the functions of this job:
Function 4 requires physical ability to push roll onto roll stand. Pushing is assisted by operator. Roll weighs approximately 4,000 pounds.
Must have physical coordination to operate roll clamp truck.
Must speak, read and write in English.
No experience needed.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software:
Sheeter machinery, Fork lift, Core Cutter/Bander.
Must be flexible: Able to work other shifts, overtime and Saturdays when needed.
High School diploma or GED required.
