To act as receptionist for all incoming clients into the practice with utmost customer care. To answer calls ensuring the proper documentation of information needing to be passed on to the providers. To document into Referrals Plus all referrals on patients being sent to other specialists or being scheduled for procedures at the hospital. To maintain an open line of communication with the providers and office manager. Must be multi-task oriented, prompt, with a willingness to learn more aspects of the practice.
Requirements: High school graduate with an Associate Degree, Technical training as a Medical Assistant, or minimum of 2 years experience in a physician clinic. Two to three years of experience in insurance and/or medical assistant.
