The Amazon Loss Prevention Team is seeking an experienced leader to support Amazon’s Transportation Services (ATS). This field-based position will partner with the Loss Prevention Operations Program’s Team and field Loss Prevention team to evaluate process gaps in order to mitigate risk and loss within Amazon’s supply chain. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, the ability to tackle multiple projects concurrently and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This candidate will work as a liaison with multiple business units, support groups, and leaders within ATS and will conduct loss prevention assessments to identify and close operational gaps within ATS. The Sr. Field Execution Manager is a key member of the Logistics Loss Prevention organization and will help drive improvements across our transportation network. The ideal candidate will have extreme bias for action and leverage a deep understanding of operational barriers and opportunities in cross-border shipment and transportation landscape.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Act as the liaison and support function between the Loss Prevention Program’s Team and Operations partners
  • Build strong partnerships with operations leadership to help identify and mitigate risk regarding operational processes or new standards in the field
  • Meet deliverable time frames set by leadership, which support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Engage cross-functional support teams to assist in identifying and closing gaps in current LP programs
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency
  • Execute process improvements, best practice sharing, and standardization across ATS processes using Lean principles
  • Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner
  • Design and optimize the transportation network delivery solutions, and develop innovative projects that drive improvements in our transportation processes, to include design, measurement and performance while minimizing the variable cost impact on the fulfillment centers
  • Leading and assisting with special projects, as assigned
  • Travel domestically 50% of the time
  • Proven ability to work with and effectively influence operational leaders and other key departments within the organization
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts or certification
  • Experience with transportation or supply chain loss prevention
  • TAPA certified
  • Knowledge of customs and CTPAT programs
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully driving complex, milestone-driven projects and carrying out changes across multi-country entities
