Belcan has an opportunity for a fully remote work from home Aerospace Systems Engineer position is currently available through Belcan. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! This is a great contract opportunity with an established and reputable company. You will be working on Phase Validation Requirements, Verifications and Certification for the Human Landing System.
Responsibilities
- Strategize, plan, and coordinate execution of the Verification, Validation and Certification (VV&C) Plan
- Verify and validate requirements for successful mission phase execution
- Create mission phase validation plans
- Provide scenario test requirements to the Integration and Test team
- Support test execution and ensure the results of those tests meet expectations
- Provide data deliveries
- Support detailed data reviews
- Support technical interchange meetings
- Identify and assess risks and develop risk mitigation plans related to VV&C
- Evaluate and approve certification products for the program"s technical and programmatic reviews
- Interface directly with NASA, ensure integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of data deliveries
