As an Operations Manager for YouTube TV, you will plan and execute programs to run service and content operations for YouTube TV. You'll build and refine a sustainable operations framework to support the continued growth and scale of the business.

The role is fast-paced and will involve problem solving to optimize running processes for our extended TV operations workforce. You'll diagnose complex workflows and business processes, and synthesize supporting data to help executives make fact-based decisions.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day digital operations for YouTube TV, including metadata management and “eyes-on-glass” monitoring. Design operational processes for scale and growth.
Manage operational metrics and KPIs - volume, performance, and impact - and execute plans to improve the measures.
Partner with cross-functional teams to build the most effective operational process and tooling investments.
Develop operational documentation, and implement training programs for knowledge retention.
Forecast and plan for recurring operational and capital expenses.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in product operations or project management.
5 years of experience managing vendor/contractor staff and leading global operations.
Experience working with datasets to generate business. Experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for use with Engineering teams.

Preferred qualifications:
3 years of experience with TV or media industry, OTT (over-the-top) service operations, or equivalent experience.
Domain expertise with common TV operations workflows such as program replacement, blackouts and VOD content operation.
Ability to lead and strive in a highly cross-functional team environment, with Engineering and Product stakeholders.
Passionate about perfection, and understands urgency and priorities of running a 24/7 service.
Attentive to detail, with effective written and oral business communication skills.
