LEAD - Low-voltage Technician/Telecommunications/Data Technician
Jiggsa is a national technology firm specializing in low voltage solutions, connectivity and "bringing the pieces together".
Jiggsa is a growing company that is looking for experienced and motivated Low-Voltage Professionals to join the team. Employees in this position will perform a full range of work across various platforms, with a heavy focus on Fiber and Integration systems including GIG internet to the commercial buildings, apartments, and residences.
This position is similar to our standard technician posting, but we are looking for one or two lead positions in this market to be running crews in the field as well as performing work.

Maintain a mature attitude when interacting with internal and external customers
Maintain and create an executable and assigned schedule
Ability to Travel (overnight if necessary)
Ensure a clean, organized, stocked, and well maintenance vehicle
Complete any paperwork associated with job responsibilities as needed
Properly maintain company issued assets and use as directed
Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor to achieve departmental goals and objectives
What Are Our Working Conditions?
Our technicians are subject to inside and outside working environments including, heat, rain, and snow
Potential exposure to low-voltage electricity
Working at elevated heights using ladders
Evening, weekend, and overtime hours may be required to meet the needs of the business
What’s in a day’s work?
Every day is a new day; One week you may be assigned to install fiber in a large construction project, the next two weeks you could be running underground fiber within an existing development. From splicing to making a customer smile, your job is to take the work order, engage your team and complete the work order in a timely fashion while exceeding the customers' expectations.
Physical activity may include crawling, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
You will be trained and working with general hand tools, power tools, ladders, splicers, and testing equipment.
You will use your excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills and have a commitment to safety that will guarantee you have a safe and successful day.
Be the lead role on projects as throughout the area being able to both oversee, provide updates/reporting and lead a small crew.
