At Checkers & Rally’s we make a difference in people’s lives by serving our Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. This position will be accountable for the development and management of all Checkers and Rally’s Digital Customer Touchpoints. This includes: websites, mobile apps, digital signage, kiosks and all other digital capabilities in service to the overarching Checkers/Rally’s Digital Marketing Strategy. Working to grow sales using the digital channels to maximize business results. This includes connecting with CR guests, driving incremental restaurant traffic, and maximizing share-of-wallet.
Success in this role will require building strong relationships with peers across several Marketing and non-Marketing teams to assure the most effective alignment of resources. This role will provide leadership and project management across teams in the implementation of CR Digital programs.
Digital Capabilities Expertise - Be the subject matter expert in CR digital channel capabilities. Ensure the technologies are integrated across all digital channels and works seamlessly with the broader marketing strategy and calendar.
Cross Functional Team alignment - The nature of this role depends on several non-marketing departments performing tasks that may be new for their priority list. Effective communication both with peers and management is critical to help the organization manage the transformative nature of this new capability.
Functional Operations Improvement – Review and enhance, where necessary, Digital Channel processes, measurements, information systems that are needed for CR Digital to operate efficiently and effectively.
Superior Digital Experiences – Collaborate with internal CR colleagues and with external vendors to create compelling guest experiences which further differentiate the CR brand from others in the market.
Brand Stewardship – This individual should collaborate and interact with internal stakeholders and external agency partners, to ensure CR Digital programs differentiate and enhance CR’s core brand equity across all guest touch-points, and across all relevant channels.

Bachelor's’ degree is required. Graduate degree preferred.
Eight or more years of experience in digital (consumer facing) technology.
Possesses an understanding of franchisee / multi-unit retail environments targeting consumers or have significant experience dealing with “outside” constituents such as supporting multiple client contacts from an agency background.
A natural orientation toward designing social / digital programs whose outcomes are measurable and can be tied to business performance.
A strong foundation in digital and social media experience in or supporting a multi-unit environment in the restaurant, hospitality or retail arenas.
Demonstrated experience developing and communicating digital brand strategies that engage consumers.
Proven experience managing multiple projects to on-time delivery.
Prior experience working closely with, or for, advertising and digital media agencies and suppliers.

This person has a successful record of leading cross-functional project teams, assigning key tasks and performing on-going management supervision to ensure that results exceed project plan goals.
Exceptional Success in Alternative Marketing Channels – The ideal candidate will have exceptional marketing instincts, combined with classic brand marketing discipline. Ideally this individual will have demonstrated success in customer relationship marketing / database marketing and partnership / sponsorship marketing.
Franchisee / Customer Focus – Ability to communicate channel marketing / brand management vision to franchisees and able to develop and build upon relationships with the franchisee community. Ideal candidates will have a previous track record of working through a franchisee network. This individual will be a polished and poised manager with superior oral and written communications skills and the ability to establish strong rapport and credibility in the industry.
Essential Physical Requirements
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information such as procedure manuals, Company communications or governmental regulations.
Ability to Travel may be required to attend off-site training, meetings and seminars.
