Heavy Equipment Operator

Experience and skills in heavy equipment including but not limited to Telehandler, skid-steer and wheel loader.
Ability to safely perform physical duties associated with operation of heavy equipment including but not limited to bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, climbing into and out of, and around heavy equipment.
Inspects equipment prior to each use for each piece of equipment operated. Immediately, reports any equipment damage, maintenance problems or concerns, or safety issues to your Operations manager.
Work safely to prevent on the job accidents and injuries, wear all site specific mandated protective equipment including but not limited to fire resistant clothing, hard hat, hearing protection, safety-toe boots and safety glasses.
Works under the general direction of the lead operator, field supervisor, and/or operations manager.
Operational requirements of a variety of light and heavy, power-driven equipment.
Methods and materials used in general construction and maintenance work
Exercises their right, responsibility, and obligation to stop work when knowledgeable of job
Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather.
Must be 18 years or older and have a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
