This individual will provide the highest level of expertise in Applications Architecture, Integrations, and Support. They will lead in setting and communicating the overall company’s technology architecture plan, implementing and supporting broader integrations across various applications. They will lead multiple projects to fast-track the implementation of new diverse application software landscape. They will also lead in setting up an application support center to support our critical applications.

Job Responsibilities

Define the applications architecture and help the technical teams implement solutions that are in congruence with our applications architecture direction
Architect and implement flexible integration middleware architecture to support our growing diverse applications landscape
Directs staff and activities involved in developing integration solutions across multiple platforms
Work with the business stakeholders to understand current processes and evoke, define, analyze and document requirements
Lead discovery workshops mapping out multiple platform technology solution requirements. Collaborate with functional and technical teams throughout the company to define, design and deliver robust integrated solutions that meet business needs
Provides integrated systems planning and recommends new or different technologies which will enhance current systems and support overall corporate and business goals
Researches and evaluates new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs
Recommends the appropriate platforms and communicate linkages required to support distributed and service oriented business processes and information flows
Provides in-depth technical consultation to clients and IT management to ensure development of efficient application systems utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies
Define, communicate, and implement the applications support center. The center will be responsible for supporting and providing technical monitoring of our critical applications
The applications support center’s goal is to reduce the level of production support required by the functional teams and recommending proactive innovative IT solutions for the improvement of IT design and operation, and business process improvements
Provide strategic technology leadership champion architecture practices and provide guidance on design and planning of IT systems always seeking opportunities to standardize where possible
Provide technology governance by conducting architectural assessments or leading design tasks so as to drive alignment to standards best practices
Lead strategic analysis and collaboration efforts related to strategic planning selection and implementation of strategy
Actively participates in as-is and to-be solutions for enterprise systems especially as it relates to developing plans and roadmaps
Interfacing with designers and planners from external suppliers and service providers ensuring all external IT services are designed to meet their agreed service levels and targets
Manages vendor relationships to maintain state of the art knowledge in emerging technologies and to develop image as a leading corporation utilizing the latest thinking in technology
Stays up to date on trends and developments within functional area of expertise and the industry
Required Qualifications

Bachelor''s Degree
Minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience working in applications and complex integrations architecture across multiple platforms
Hands-on application center experience (onshore/offshore model)
Strong collaboration skills within IT and with business partners
Expert knowledge of design and implementation of enterprise workflow systems, distributed architecture, intranet/internet architecture, and communication architectures
A senior level knowledge of the system development life cycle, and system and application program development technological alternatives and architecture methodologies for multi-platform environments
Must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of systems architecture design using state of the art for rules based architecture, object oriented component analysis and development (OOA,OOD,UML) and proficiency in ERP, Java, C++, eCommerce applications, COM/DCOM, J2EE, CORBA
Excellent communication and interpersonal and consultative skills to work effectively with vendors, clients, peers, and IT management and staff
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to lead teams on short-term projects
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
Minimum 10+ years of solid, diverse work experience in IT including experience with systems architecture methodologies
Previous project leadership experience is desirable
Applicable certifications preferred
