We are looking for an experienced Gardener Manager to run a crew of 15. Starting now through November 18th and starting up again on April 17th 2025 through November 18th and possible beyond to install and maintain the flower beds, small shrubs and fruit trees. Gardener Manager responsibilities include monitoring the staff, scheduling, qulaity control and payroll. May include over all care and garden duties including overall health of plants and greenscapes, watering and feeding plants, trimming small dwarf fruit trees and shrubs, fertilizing, weeding gardens and keeping green spaces and walkways maintaining the overall appearance of landscape. Does NOT include mowing. You should know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment, trimmers and fertilizers, while following health and safety regulations. Ultimately, you will make sure our gardens and green spaces are always healthy and beautiful. Looking for a highly motivated individual who would like to work for a small landscape gardening company in the lakes and mountain region in the heart of North Conway Village and beyond. This job is a great opportunity for someone with an eye for detail. Responsibilities include maintenance, spring/fall cleanups and working on new landscape projects/installations. Designed Gardens maintains high end landscapes ,designed and installed by us, Applicant must reflect a professional appearance on all sites. Season typically starts mid-April and continues until November 18th. Willingness to travel to multiple job sites a must.

- Mulch, edge and weed gardens
- Prune and trim trees and bushes
- Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, trimmers and leaf blowers
- Monitor and maintain the health of plants
- Deal with pest problems that could damage plants
Skills
- Experience as a Gardener Manager but willing to train
- Familiarity with landscaping design
- Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
- Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them
- Knowledge of synthetic and natural fertilizers
- The ability to lift heavy objects
- The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- A love of the outdoors and plant life
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
