Assist in the management of the day-to-day operation of the Competitive Sports Program.
Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate Competitive Sports Staff as assigned.
Plan and lead staff meetings as assigned.
Prepare daily staff reports.
Serve as a liaison to individual Sport Clubs.
Assist with the administration of the Sport Clubs program.
Coordinate risk management in-service trainings for Competitive Sports staff.
Maintain inventory of IM Sports and Sport Clubs equipment and replenish supplies.
Create monthly participation and equipment inventory reports.
Assist with marketing efforts for Sport Clubs and upcoming Intramural Sports leagues, and tournaments.
Assess effectiveness and satisfaction of services and facilities.
Maintain weekly office hours.
Assist in creating and developing policies and procedures.
Provide quality facilities & exceptional customer service.
Ensure a safe environment for participants and employees.
Paint field lines for IM Sports and Sport Clubs events.
Attend all meetings and trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
CPR/AED & First Aid certification
Must be a current staff member of the Competitive Sports Program
Ability to handle maintenance equipment (i.e. brooms, rakes, utility vehicles)
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of 6 credits as an Undergraduate student or 3 credits as a Graduate student.
Schedule is based on class schedule and department availability.
$11.00 - $12.00/hour based on experience
