Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester NH is currently seeking a 340B Analyst.

Position Objective:
Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, and in conjunction with the Pharmacy Manager, Business Coordinator-Pharmacy, and Pharmacist Informatics Specialist, the 340B Compliance Analyst is responsible for maintaining compliance and maximizing financial impact of Frisbie Memorial Hospital's 340B program. The 340B Compliance Analyst will be responsible for preparing for and conducting regular compliance and eligibility audits; oversight of third party vendors; split billing and 340B registration. The 340B Compliance Analyst will stay current with regulations that impact 340B programs and provide ongoing education to keep others up to date. The 340B Compliance Analyst is responsible for creating, analyzing and reporting on metrics and statistics related to the overall compliance and functioning of the 340B program.

Essential Position Functions:
  • 340B Audits
Evaluate patient eligibility and 340B compliance
Readiness for HRSA and manufacturers audits
Develops and executes regular auditing program
Evaluates necessary self-reporting and needed program changes
  • Manage relationships and provide oversight of third parties
340B vendors
Contract pharmacies
Drug Wholesalers
  • Respond to manufacturer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Optimize program value to the entity
Work with the Director of Pharmacy and CFO to review and evaluate 340B contracts
Help identify and assess opportunities for cost savings (Sub-WAC, Sub-340B)
  • Create and analyze reports to assess the impact of the 340B program
Develop reports to assist in tracking financial impact of 340B to the entity
Monitor, report, and analyze contract pharmacy data
Report internal pharmacy savings
Report external contract pharmacy net revenues
Ad hoc report requests
  • Split-Billing
Supervise and audit 340B spilt-billing software
Coordinate purchasing and buyer compliance
  • Prepare 340B metrics and updates and be an active participant in various meetings
Quarterly meetings with Senior Admin
Adhoc subcommittee meetings
Routine pharmacy team meetings
Routine finance team meetings
  • Participate in continuing education to develop a thorough understanding of 340B programs and to stay current on regulations

Quarterly check 340B database accuracy
Coordinate with AO & PC quarterly registrations & annual recertifications
  • Policy and Procedure Development
Monitors newly passed legislation and guides program changes
Collaborates with 340B Prime Vendor Program (Apexus) and 340B Health on best practices

Non-Essential Position Functions:
Work as Pharmacy Technician no less than 1 shift per month to maintain operational workflow competencies
Perform other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:Education/Certification and Licensure:
Bachelor's degree in health management and policy, business, or a related field and at least two years of relevant subject matter experience; Associate's degree and at least four years of relevant subject matter experience. Will consider additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.

Minimum two (2) years broad pharmacy operations and/or healthcare business office or financial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practices and delivery methods and knowledge of 340B programs highly desirable.
Ability to analyze and interpret data, and resolve complex problems; strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Advanced computer experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and EMR systems, Meditech preferred.
Knowledge of 340B Prescription Drug Program rules, guidelines and regulations preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines; strong organizational and planning skills while providing high quality customer service.
Ability to work effectively with management and staff at various levels in the organization and with external consultants, vendors and auditors.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
