Job Description:Position Description or Responsibilities:
Manage manufacturing, one piece flow, from start through completion.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Read and understand Bill of Materials.
Participate in Process Improvement projects.
Enters shipping data (UPS, FEDEX, Parcel Post, etc.) using appropriate scales, computer programs, forms, and measurements.
Uses material handling equipment to move material into, around and out-of the facility. Loads finished product onto shipper’s truck or into holding area.
Prepares and verifies all associated documentation required to ship material including verifying quantities, weights, and product identification.
Maintains an accurate record of all work performed in the appropriate company format/form.
Reviews and compares production documents and material to be shipped to ensure the completeness of the order.
Perform other routine tasks as assigned by Production Manager and/or his delegate.
Tapes and bands individual containers, and stacks containers on pallets/skids as required.
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
Thorough knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel
Sound analytical skills relative to problem solving and good interpersonal skills
Physical & Mental Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Position requires standing for entire shift and working OT to meet business demands.
Experience working with UPS and FedEx shipping software
2 year Associates degree in a quality or technical field preferred
2-5 years related work experience
