DP Doors & Millwork is a rapidly growing full-service door and trim company servicing Montana and surrounding states. We are seeking motivated Sales Representatives with the drive to help grow the Company’s existing markets and identify and pursue new opportunities. The Sales Representatives will build and maintain relationships and communicate with key contacts (contractors and builders) in order to secure business and service the customer. This fast paced position requires strong selling skills, leadership, excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and ability to multi-task.

Timeline: The Sales Representative position in the Helena/Great Falls markets will commence in November, 2019. The first couple of months will require frequent travel to our Belgrade office to train with the CEO and Controller in the shop, on the various software packages, and in the field. Screen sharing training on the software will be utilized as frequently as possible to avoid unnecessary travel. Following the initial in office training, the Sales Representative will work remotely based out of their home.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for being thoroughly knowledgeable about products, pricing, availability
  • Provide contractors, builders and customers with sales quotes, and negotiate pricing and terms
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers, develop relationships, and consistently visit their offices and jobsites
  • Communicate with customers regarding any complaints and customer satisfaction levels
  • Become the liaison between the customer and production department to communicate any scheduling updates, change orders or add on orders
  • Find and develop new customers
  • Measure door and trim needs or projects and prepare quotes

Qualifications include:

  • Knowledge/experience of the assigned territory and market
  • Base knowledge of the construction industry (finish carpentry work ideal but not necessary)
  • Previous sales experience within the construction industry
  • Demonstrate a team-focused approach when working with operations in order to deliver quality service and products
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and move doors and trim to assist delivery drivers and contractors as necessary

  • Base salary initially with commission on revenues generated in excess, then converting to commission only after up to 1 year
