If you would like to be a part of our team and make real difference in people’s lives. The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a (part-time, bi-lingual) Medical Receptionist.
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for assisting clients and staff in a busy Behavioral Health Unit and Crisis and Community Based Services. This person will greet clients and visitors, in Spanish or English as required. They will answer or refer inquiries and schedule clients, either in person or on the phone.
The hours of this position are from 4PM to 8PM, Tuesday through Thursday at $15.00 an hour.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following Essential Functions:
Greet clients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying,
faxing, and mailing.
Follow office policies and procedures
Maintain patient accounts by validating all personal and financial information
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
Review and respond appropriately to inquiries regarding services
Manage staff schedules by accurately scheduling clients according to centralized scheduling procedures.
Manage correspondence to and from community providers. Families, pharmacies, and other organizations involved in care.

- Bi-lingual Spanish (required)
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
- Two to three year’s medical office experience (preferred)
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
