Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospital Rounding Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital environment and possess strong clinical skills, particularly in IV insertion and patient assessment. This role involves providing high-quality inpatient nursing care .
Qualifications and Experience
- 2+years of ICU, or 5 years of nursing experience
- RN License; BSN preferred
- ACLS/BLS certification
Duties
- Rounding on all patients
- Managing census
- Scribing notes for providers
- Taking verbal orders
- Wound care and surgical care
- Collaboration with other teams/services
- Make OR schedule
- Make follow up appointments
- Coordinate communication with hospital staff and other providers regarding patient care
- Liaison with patient families
Skills
- Must have critical thinking skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Good time management
- Must be organized
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and IV insertion.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
- Ability to lift patients safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Pay: $69,625.00 - $72,481.00 per year
