We are seeking a Director of Mitigation to join our team. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in the mitigation industry and excellent leadership skills. The primary function of the Director of Mitigation is to direct all mitigation services to ensure that the quality of the services provided meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all mitigation services and ensure that they are done efficiently and effectively
- Review all work orders and ensure that staff are compliant with company policies and safety standards
- Provide training to staff regarding mitigation standards and procedures
- Hire, evaluate and train new staff members
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurance adjusters
- Review daily reports and ensure that all billing is accurate
- Ensure that all equipment and vehicles are maintained and in good condition
- Attend regular meetings with the senior management team to discuss the progress and goals of the mitigation department
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in mitigation and restoration industry
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
- Understanding of all Water Damage restoration protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in technology, including software applications for estimating and invoicing
- Certification in Water Damage Restoration and Mold Remediation
