The Director, Business/Product Development is responsible for the delivery of key SVS marketing activities. This person will be responsible for crafting of product marketing and messaging, including the development and articulation of this messaging to internal stakeholders and leadership, as well as driving this messaging through the organization. Responsibilities also include tactical implementation of communications, branding, RFP development, and sales support.
Create and drive revenue through existing and new initiatives.
Craft the value articulation of SVS to customers and prospects.
Deliver tactical marketing activities including the management of shared marketing resources to create sell sheets, advertising, press releases, customer pitches, web site support, etc.
Lead cross-functional resources for special growth initiatives.
Manage and support the development of critical RFP’s.
Support and contribute to the development of the SVS long range plan.
Monitor the performance of business units’ marketing plans relative to objectives and manage budgets accordingly.
Liaise with IT, Project Management, Finance and other departments to determine scope of work, resource requirements and costs, oversee project development and execution.
Support strategy development by providing analyses that support critical strategic and operational decision. Create 'what-if scenarios' that link to strategy, e.g. new entrants and competitors or evolving industry economics.
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required. MBA strongly preferred.
5-10 years business experience with background in consulting, business development, research and analysis and/or strategic planning.
Superior analytic expertise; talent as a strategic thinker with high-level understanding of payment trends and market analysis; ability to translate information into succinct, actionable, and strategic recommendations.
Strong relationship-management skills, including an ability to build rapport with team members and among other business units. Strong orientation to team and organization success.
