HR ADMINISTRATOR
Full-Time | Solon, OH | M-F 8:00 - 5:00
We're currently looking for an experienced Human Resources professional to manage and support key HR functions including payroll, benefits, retirement plan, leave administration, onboarding, and employee relations. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Process biweekly payrolls and process payroll-related changes within the HRIS system in a timely manner
- Administer the company’s retirement plan and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage benefits, including resolution of claims issues, open enrollment, unemployment, and leave administration (FLMA, STD, LTD, Worker’s Comp, etc.)
- Maintain and update all personnel records and prepare EEO reporting
- Serve as point of contact for employment-related questions from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate executive staff
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Plan and conduct effective employee onboarding and recognition programs
- Implement written policies/procedures and update company guidebook
- Support internal and external HR audit requests
- Ensure HR operations comply with federal, state, and local employment requirements
Qualifications:
- Proactive self-starter, able to take the lead with minimal supervision
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Above-average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and talent management systems
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of human resource experience, with 2 years’ payroll experience
