Key Responsibilities
Work closely with other Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other staff to perform the following duties:

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses including 2-D modeling.

Perform floodplain mapping and delineations.
-
Evaluate drainage issues and develop creative solutions.

Help develop drainage master plans.
-
Design drainage facilities including culverts, storm drains, and more.

Perform research, synthesize data, and write reports.
-
Assist in client contact and communications for projects and tasks.
-
Attend client meetings.
-
Assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work and cost estimates.
-
May be expected to perform fieldwork.
Skills/Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field required.

4 to 6 years of experience with stormwater projects.

A Professional Engineer (PE) License, or ability to pass the PE exam within 12 months of employment.

Excellent written and communication skills and strong math and science skills.

Must be able to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software.

Familiarity with ESRI ArcMap.

Experience using HEC-RAS, FLO-2D.
-
Experience with other hydrology & hydraulics programs is a bonus.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil3D is also desirable.

Ability to prioritize special projects and daily workload to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment

Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment.

Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required.

Flexibility to work partially remote also an option.
