The Miami Cancer Institute Patient Navigator at Baptist Health South Florida acts as liaison between patients, physicians and the care team of the Miami Cancer Institute. Responsibilities include:

The Oncology Patient Navigator is responsible for the coordination of care across the continuum; education/provision of information and support for clients and patients; facilitation of decision making; advocacy and ultimately improved throughput and patient satisfaction.
Supports the individual/significant others throughout the entire cancer care and survivorship experience, from point of entry through follow-up and continued care.
Monitors patient outcomes, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Works in a multidisciplinary setting and collaborate with health care team members to positively impact patient outcomes and patient experiences.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Current/Valid Fl RN License required
Oncology Nurses with navigation experience preferred
Bilingual preferred
