The Marketing Intern will research and develop marketing strategies for upcoming product launches with a focus on retail marketing. This role will identify trends in-store and through digital to drive more traffic to retail locations. The intern will work to establish processes and protocols within the marketing team to better service retailer needs.
The Marketing Intern will gain valuable insights into concepting, planning, and executing global retail initiatives, brand objectives and event marketing campaigns. The Intern will assist in the daily duties and responsibilities of the marketing and retail marketing department. This role will be exposed to how the retail marketing department works together with cross-functional teams to help generate brand awareness and sales, service the needs of some of the largest retailers in the country.
Work with retail marketing team to identify trends for in-store marketing and digital marketing and help create necessary creative briefs in support of promotional and brand marketing materials and develop strategies for upcoming product launches.
Assist in building go-to-market plans for fall launches or seasonal point of sale rollouts. Support in creation of briefs for promotional and brand marketing materials
Compile campaign tracking content (marketing tactics, promotional summaries, etc.) and work with Retail Marketing team to analyze post campaign metrics and strategies
Participate in retail events and collaborate to improve in-store displays and visual updates .
Knowledge Skills Required:
Passion, interest, knowledge of golf strongly preferred
Strong understanding of marketing tactics & techniques, including retail marketing
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Detail oriented and organized self-starter with a positive attitude
Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks
Undergraduate Student - Enrolled in major coursework completing junior or senior year
Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Retail Design Marketing & Merchandising
