About the Senior User Researcher Position
As a Senior User Researcher, you are responsible for generating actionable user experience insights that will advance our products forward and add value to both the business and the user. You will work closely with our Product and design teams in helping them answer their questions through generative and evaluative research.
Plan and execute end-to-end user research across the Study.com product offerings
Partner closely with designers, product managers, marketers, and content leaders to identify research initiatives
Provide expertise and assistance to research projects conducted across various teams
Use knowledge of company and product strategies to prioritize research activities
Adapt methods to the research question. Use a range of qualitative and quantitative methods and distill the data to come up with actionable insights
Drive impact, as measured by changes to the product roadmap and sprint backlogs
Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in a compelling and creative manner to all levels of management
MA/MS/Ph.D. in experimental psychology, human computer interaction, anthropology, or related discipline
At least 4 years of experience working in a software product space following agile development
Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous, and constantly changing agile environment
Eagerness to continually learn, grow and evolve the craft of research
End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
Ability to be scrappy, and do what it takes to get the job done
Familiarity with international research and exploring global markets
Experience working in startups and large companies
Strong command of behavioral analysis, statistics, and experimental design
The ability to understand, analyze and interpret complicated data
