Our Advanced Technology group is seeking an Electrical Engineer with the ability and experience to design innovative circuit hardware and write/code software. You will be an active part of a multi-disciplinary team working on projects that span a wide range of research projects encompassing commercial, military and medical technologies. Innovation and technical problem solving will be a major part of your position.
4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent; MS a plus.
4 years overall experience.
Hands on experience in prototype hardware development and debugging.
Experience with system architecture design.
Previous experience developing hardware for military/defense platforms
Knowledge in military testing standards and requirements
Experience with other programming languages (C, C++, Python, perl, Tcl, etc.)
Familiarity with common communications protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, RS-232)
High degree of comfort working on early phase research projects.
Ability to read schematics.
