What you’ll do:
Work with the primary internal communications leads for Deloitte Consulting to support key executives’ internal communications plans. Provide ongoing support throughout the business on various internal communications efforts and play leading role in the implementation of Deloitte’s new, firmwide internal communications platform.
Serve as a strategic advisor while continually identifying and implementing creative internal communications programs to engage the Consulting practice
Develop and/or edit leadership communications as needed
Provide internal communications support for key Consulting leaders; support both internal and external eminence plans
Provide internal communications support within other areas of the Consulting business, as needed
Assist internal communications managers on their Offering Portfolio-specific communications needs
Provide communications support for Deloitte’s Signature Issues, including the development of a new internal/external podcast series
Work together with Editor-in-Chief and Communications lead for roll-out and ongoing execution of Project Iris, Deloitte’s new internal communications platform
Design, track, and report internal metrics and results of initiatives to demonstrate impact
Deloitte’s Communications team provides value to the Deloitte US Firms by delivering innovative communications strategies and approaches for internal and external audiences. We build and protect our brand, and help our leaders influence positive behaviors, drive change, reinforce successes, and promote a strong sense of community through coordinated, consistent messaging. From concept to execution, we help our leaders reach their audience and achieve a consistent standard of excellence using proven communication methodologies.
Communications professional with a minimum of 10+ years relevant experience
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations or Journalism, is required
Proven success in developing and executing internal communications strategies for senior executives within a large business, preferably in professional services
Ability to communicate effectively with clarity and precision in both written and verbal capacities
Broad thinking capable of making connections across the business and taking decisive action
Strong writing, editing, and copy-editing skills and previous writing/editing experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism fields required
Strong executive presence and comfort working with and advising senior management
Knowledge of the latest internal communications measurement platforms, such as PoliteMail and Salesforce
Experience developing and executing internal/external podcast series
Experience in successfully managing and delivering sensitive, crisis, and executive communications requests in a large-scale corporate environment
Strong organizational and coordination skills and attention to detail
Comfortable with ambiguity and change
