Work hours: 6:00 am - 10:30 am, daily flights, agents scheduled 5 days/week.

Position Overview:

The Airport Agent will provide passenger assistance at the check-in counter. To be successful in this position the individual must be able to be thorough, be organized, detail oriented and communicate effectively.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Verification of Passports, Resident Cards, and Visas to ensure compliance with Cuban immigration rules
  • Sell Tourist Cards to passengers who do not have one in their possession
  • Handle cash and credit cards using POS software
  • Explain Cuba flight related items as necessary with customers
  • Communicate with management to solve problems, identify errors and discrepancies
  • Assist with any other duties required by the Airport Operations Manager

  • Must be professional in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Handle difficult customers in a calm and professional manner
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to move and lift objects up to 40 lbs.

Training and Experience: ·

  • Must have at least one year of relevant work experience·
  • Must be fluent Bilingual English and Spanish·
  • Travel industry experience a plus

This is a part-time position. Agent must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Agent must pass background check and drug screening.
