Provides leadership, management and execution of a development program to secure and expand financial support for Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida.
Develop and execute the agency’s annual fundraising plan.
Meet or exceed the agency’s fundraising goal.
Foster an understanding of philanthropy within the organization.
Implement and execute donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities.
Major donor face to face solicitation in conjunction with agency leadership.
Execute and elevate existing fundraising events and secure/create new special events in conjunction with volunteers, staff and community groups. Secures corporate and individual sponsorship. Solicits in-kind goods and services as needed.
Manages grant and foundation funding to include identification of grant funding. opportunities, writing and submitting grant proposals and oversight of grant compliance.
Provide staff support to the development and special events committee and its activities.
Oversee and manage database, to include: gift entry and response process to assure accuracy and completeness of records; and list building.
Maintains professional knowledge by attending workshops, training, meetings, and other professional/community events. Represents agency goals and mission in the community.
Accepts direction and supports agency objectives, goals and values. Perform any and all special assignments as requested by the Executive Director
