The Nurse Manager provides leadership and oversight for Healthcare for the Homeless - Houston. Responsible for all aspects of clinical practice operations of a multi-site primary care practice for homeless individuals, including tactical plans for clinical services, personnel administration, financial management of clinic services,quality improvement, policies and procedures, billing and special projects, including project design and implementation.

Supervise individuals within a multi-disciplinary team setting.
Supervise and perform evaluations based on job description and performance for all non-faculty employees.
Provide orientation and onboarding, training and ongoing continuing education.
Responsible for Change Management for clinical services.
Serve as the liaison maintaining communication between Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine and HHH.
Maintain relationships with external community partners to support strategic goals.
Member of the Leadership Committee.
Implement and monitor changes to the clinical and operational program of the agencies.
Assign tasks and provide guidance to personnel responsible for specific functions for programs.
Develop action plans and processes for programmatic changes or strategic shifts.
Ensure timely credentialing of applicable employees.
Prepare and utilize management reports to assess the efficiency and productivity of clinical operations.
Maintain and monitor appropriate operating budgets and business strategies for each clinic site.
Lead in the development and monitoring of billing practices to maximize revenue cycles.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidance(s) affecting clinic services.
Prepare and interpret standard and ad hoc management reports; complete relevant sections of grant reports.
Monitor and report clinical and patient measures and outcomes.
Plan pre-audit activities to prepare for inspection visits.
Responsible for the ordering and maintenance of equipment,supplies and harmaceuticals inventories.
Coordinate quality improvement activities with the Quality Assurance Administrator (QAA).
Assess organizational systems, processes and workflows to improve efficiency, productivity and customer and staff satisfaction.
Maintain CMS and Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation.
Investigate and respond promptly to patient, provider, practitioner and staff concerns/complaints.
Monitor patient satisfaction through routine evaluations, such as patient satisfaction surveys.
Function as an operational liaison with the EHR vendors.
Supervise training of staff on the electronic health record and develop QI program for chart reviews.
Oversee IT regulatory compliance, including Meaningful Use compliance.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Degrees in lieu of experience will not be accepted.
Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Texas Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Five years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with minimum one year of nurse supervisory experience.

Preferred:
Master's of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
