Credit and Collections Manager

Oversee and manage a multi-state credit and collections team, collaborating closely with Accounting Management. Responsible for all aspects of credit and collections, including credit analysis, collections, and customer relations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a credit and collections team to optimize performance and achieve department goals.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments, including financial analysis and industry research, to determine creditworthiness and approve or deny credit lines.
- Ensure PCI compliance for merchant accounts and manage related processes.
- Resolve customer account and billing discrepancies, providing exceptional customer service.
- Create and distribute weekly aging reports to sales teams, maintaining open communication and fostering strong relationships.
- Implement and monitor efficient credit and collection processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support annual audits and inventory processes as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis to support company initiatives and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and other financial reporting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience, with at least two to five years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and systems.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based position with extensive computer use.
- Requires overtime work as needed to meet business demands.
