The vertical marketing manager will create messaging, build awareness and drive lead flow in targeted industries. This requires a deep understanding of the industry buyers, their behavior, and channels of communication. It also requires working closely with product management, account-based marketing, product marketing, and sales teams.
Develop messaging for within target verticals.
Author sales/marketing tools, including web pages, data sheets, and other collateral.
Build outbound demand generation campaigns to support pipeline creation.
Conduct primary and secondary research to support product management.
Work with partners to implement industry-specific marketing programs.
Identify industry trends and establish thought leadership through media including blogs, industry media, trade shows, and social media.
Train sales and field teams on vertical specific messaging and resources.
Provide content support for account based marketing programs.
Possess leadership skills combined with technical capabilities and market/business knowledge
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Possess solid team skills.
Experience marketing to at least two the following industries: financial services, government, information technology or telecommunications industries
Demonstrated experience in developing vertical messaging connecting business needs to technology solutions.
