Washington State Nurse Practitioner opportunities
Family Nurse Practitioners – will need to see peds through geriatrics. Outpatient only
Internal Medicine NP – outpatient only with rare call (phone only)
This client is a 101 bed community hospital in a HPSA, with a 24/7 Hospitalist Program, a Wound Healing Center, and dedicated Endoscopy Suite. They have 75 active medical staff, providing all services except open heart and neuro.
A non-profit community hospital services a diverse population of about 75,000; offering a level 3 trauma center. They provide care for everything but heads, open hearts, and major peds. They average 40 to 50 births per month in our Family Birth Center, with a Level 1 Nursery. Harborview, the designated trauma center in Seattle, is a 40 minute helicopter ride from their roof. Pediatric patients are shipped to Mary Bridge in Tacoma, and other patients to Multi-Care facilities there as well as facilities in Olympia. There are about 70 physicians on the active medical staff and about 70 courtesy and consulting, providing a full scope of services for our patient population.
A new 20 bed Emergency Department was opened in 2007; hospitalss has PACS, a 128 slice CT, new nucs and rad-fluoro, and a dedicated Endoscopy Suite. They run a free standing wound center with an osteomyelitis clinic, including hyperbaric chambers. There is very little managed care, with a 24/7 Hospitalist program in place. There are 4 OR’s, 1 OB OR, and 10 day surgery beds, with block times for all surgeons, and an all physician anesthesia department, currently 5 FTE’s.
