As a manager, you empower team members to come up with ideas and make rapid progress towards goals. You remove roadblocks and ensure projects and tasks have the support they need to succeed by working closely with your team to deliver outstanding results.

The role of a manager is to solve challenges through people-focused solutions. You’ll be an integral part of the HR team, so you’ll need to learn about the business operations

and be a strategic advisor to leadership on people related topics. This will require you to think big-picture, use data to inform your decisions and advice, be comfortable questioning convention, and in some cases reinvent processes. You’ll partner with a cross-functional teams to design and execute the strategy for how we hire, onboard, develop, encourage, retain and organize our people operations.


  • Offer and execute solutions regarding organizational and people-related strategy.
  • Research impactful data to influence decision making and deliver proactive solutions.
  • Solve problems and get to the bottom of any issue. Design and quickly implement solutions to challenges directly and indirectly impacted by HR.
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and payroll.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 of those years in a team lead role
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 3 weeks per year independently and with others
  • Experience with a recruiting, interviewing, selection, and employee relations
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR/Payroll Systems
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and trust regarding company and employee matters
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and being part of strategy discussions
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • MA/MS/MBA degree
  • Great at influencing through strong relationships, credibility and data. Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of teammates
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
  • Great communication skills; understands how to clearly and concisely communicate large complex change
  • International HR experience, specifically in recruiting and/or employee relations
  • Experience with payroll
  • Proficiency with using Namely HR software

Salary and Benefits

ATA offers a full compensation package with outstanding benefits.

  • Starting salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 based upon experience
