Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The candidate will play a key role in providing clinical intakes, assessments, counseling, and support services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Includes health benefits and vacation time.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical intakes and assessments to determine mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions based on evidence-based practices with a caseload of up to 35 patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Maintain ongoing contact with referral sources.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
- Stay informed about current developments in the field of mental health and social work.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as either a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Clinical experience in mental health assessment and counseling.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in social work practice.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
